I love No. 7 products. And I love the £5 off promotion that Boots seem to do every couple of months. So much so, that I have run out of things I need to buy. But nail varnish seems to be the one thing that you need in plenty of colours and that doesn't take up too much room.

On the plus side they have a great range of ever changing colours so there is always a new one to get. And with the £5 off voucher, one will cost you only £2.50.

I have recently brought a blue, bright pink, and a purple. Today I brought a gorgeous deep pink colour called 'Jammy'. I didn't need it, but the £5 off was too much for me to resist!
The downside - they seem to be quite messy to apply. The brush seems to be quite wide. Despite wiping the brush on both sides before I start applying it, there always seems to be excess that drips down the brush to land in a big splodge on your nail, or to my embarrassment last week at a conference when I was subtly attempting to touch up a chipped one, on my tights so I had to spend the rest of the day with a big blue smudge just above my knee.

They also don't dry that quickly, despite the 'Quick Drying' claim on the back and I seem to spend a long time trying not to touch anything and wafting my hands around after past experiences of it smudging. It also chips quite quickly - I get about 2-3 days of chip free wear!

There are some lovely colours, and two coats leaves you with beautiful shiny nails (as long as you don't touch anything for a while).

It can be quite messy to remove if left on too long, and can leave stains around the edge of your nail if you're as clumsy as I am at applying.

To summarise, they have a great range of colours, and for £2.50 I just can't stop myself. But they are not the easiest to apply - a bit messy and don't dry as quickly as claimed!
