Nyx Trio Eyeshadow A lot of looks for little bucks. When i was going through my faze of trying to perfect a different look by watching various virals on a certain well known site, Nyx trio eyeshadow was one of the products i needed to buy to acquire the latest "smokey" look. as it had been mentioned in one of the countless virals i took notice of. I ordered mine via a link on the viral to the NYX cosmetics site, I was determined on ordering just the colours i needed to perfect my modern look, but was astonished at what others they had on offer. I felt like a child in a sweet shop so much choice and little funds. However i did in the end purchase 4 lots, not to the amusement of my hubby but hey a girls got to look good! Anyway the trio of eyeshadows that i ordered were,...... Trio lot one .... code Ts1 this consists of Black, white and grey , which is the one i needed for the "smokey" look, the white is one i use to create a number of looks and is one i think i will have to order again as it is a great lightener. Trio lot two ,,, code Ts14 These shades were Highlight ,brown and suede, These colours are more for an autumn look , but i tend to wear a lot of this one no matter what season I'm in as they look good and you can get rather a natural look using these shades. Trio lot thee... code ts36, This three were titled as "ceramic" which i thought was a bit strange considering the colours were very heavy, and not what i would associate with ceramics at all, well the colours are in this trio are Black, but this Black is and applies heavier than the one in Ts1 then you have a dark grey, this is dark too and will need to be toned down in my opinion and then there exists a gun metal grey which is excellent not to mention is one i use in my smokey look to represent a contrasting grey i have. Trio lot four ... code ts41. This is titled as "Anti Diva" and although i ordered it looking at the colours now i am trying to calculate what made buy these, as they are colours i do not normally wear. however back to the colours, the pallet consists of a pinky white slab and rubbing it on the back of my hand like some of the others there is a little twinkle in there too and i guess is one i can substitute for the other white when i run low, the second colour is a aquamarine and looking at it you do tend to think Jamaican beach , as it does seem to make you think of those nice beaches you see in holiday brochures it is almost enchanting but not something i am in a rush to use on my face, and the last but not least is a beige colour with like a hint of red brick dust in it, sorry but thats the only way to describe it when i look at it. Despite my last lot i can honestly say these are a great and with a search on the net you will find different virals which will help you create looks using the trio's and as the site advertises, they do compliment any skin tone, i am pretty fair yet my friend has used them to and she is a sun worshiper so her skin tone is darker in comparison to mine and they do look good on her too. The pallet comes rather well packed to prevent the eyeshaow slabs breaking. The eyeshadows are housed in a Black compact which has a mirror, and a sponge applicator, the applicator i found worked well for a few weeks in one of the trio's i bought but did fall off, but i do find applying with a brush a lot easier than the sponge applicators as with the sponge one i tend to, like most apply too much at least with a brush you can monitor it well and have no wastage. Nyx Cosmetics deal with a wide rage of colours in these trio pallets so you will defiantly find something you will like, there are 45 different sets , with colours to suit everyone, and they are cheap too , mine cost $8 dollars from the nyx site which according to the currency converter works out at £5.02 .. I'm sure it was lower when i ordered but i am going back to last June, but even so it would only have been a little lower, but not to worry i would gladly of paid more as they are really good value for money. And to top it all i did get a free brush applicator set so i was happy with what i got and paid for, but it did take a little time for them to arrive, as came from America. So do look around for an agent or supplier that is based in the UK if you are in a rush for them, or like me you could wait 2 weeks! Overall i like the trio pallets and will order them again, and especially from the NYX site as they do offer promotions and waiting the 2 weeks is not a issue if i am going to get a free gift worth £10, The colours as i stated are nice and smooth not gritty like some eyeshadows on the market, and as the NYX company say "Warning for sexy eyes only" the eyeshadows do create a sexy look. so go on treat yourself, it is worth the money and the time waiting if you want to wow someone with a new look.
