Advantages: Easy to apply and even coverage

Disadvantages: Doesn't cover imperfections as promised

I purchased my first bottle of this is the summer and its something I've re purchased on a few occasions and I wore it all of the summer!

Now my bottle of this (as usual!) is completely different to the one shown on the review photo!

So to be clear my bottle is 50ml recyclable tube of Olay Provital, Revitalising Tinted Moisturiser and this one is for mature skin. I bought this on purpose to extra condition my dried out skin during the summer months as I was a bit burnt and a bit flaky.

Th Packaging....

White tube says Olay on front in black and a little ladies face logo on the front and it clearly states what it is on the front. On the back of the tube again explains what it is and lets us know this is a Procter & Gamble product and contact details.

The Promise....

Revitalising Tinted Moisturiser helps to leave your skin looking and feeling younger. It perfects skin tone and leaves a radiant glow.

Moisture Boost.
Rich moisturising fluid give the skin the intensive hydration mature skin needs.

Extra Nourishment.
The formula contains Vitamins E and Pro-Vitamin A and Pro Vitamin B5. It nourishes to strengthen the skin.

A sheer hint of colour promotes even skin tone and naturally helps hide imperfections.

Does It Work.....

Well yes and no. Lets take this step by step.

Yes it gives even coverage but it does not cover up imperfections. If anything cos its a sheer cream it actually highlights them. This product is not a foundation. If you try use it as one and decide to use some pressed powder over the top it works well and doesn't clump but still the result isn't as good as using a foundation. Does look little shiny but remember this a sheer product not a matte one. Also as it's a moisturising product it does feel a little greasy on the skin so I'm not sure if it'd be great on someone prone to zits but again this is made for the more mature lady!

Where this product comes into its own is the moisturising capability. Its soft to the touch, drys on the skin well, doesn't rub off and does last a long time on the skin and in the tube. You don't have to use loads.
It feels great, light and airy on the skin and after taking it off (which is a really easy process) your skin still feels really top notch like you've been wearing a great moisturiser all day, which of course you have!.

So to me foundation will always win out but for summer days when its warm and your busy and you still want to look great this is a really good product that does a great job at moisturising skin and giving a hint of colour.

Mine Cost £7.99 from Boots but I cant find a price for this on net. From what I see there is no colour choice it is standard. It look dark in the tube but it must colour adapt as it worked for me and I'm very pale!

Negative Points....

May not be a great colour on everyone.
Proctor and Gamble are very unclear if they do animal testing or not.
Does not contain SPF so you if you are going into the sun you do need some added protection!

Summary: Great as a moisturising product with a dash of colour
