Advantages: Dewy, light, moisturising foundation
Disadvantages: The infuriating pump
The small print on the bottle says 'Improves the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles for a flawless finish, and a younger, fabulous look' That's tempting enough to give it a try for any woman, whatever age. I tried it first, using the tester on the back of my hand, and in the bright, unforgiving lights it looked good. So I bought it. There is large choice of shades, and I went for Medium Ivory 14. It works well for a middle of the range priced foundation.Slides on easily, blends well, coverage is good, evening out skin tones, and does give a 'dewy' look and feel to the skin. Light enough for day wear, yet equally good for evenings too. It doesn't need any touching up during the day and lasts very well....but....and there is one. It comes in a pump action bottle, and it pumps fine, but ends up all over the place. I aim at my fingers, but it wants to go in an entirely different direction, like on my lap, so beware. I would prefer the foundation to be packaged without the pump, and this will deter me from buying it again. It's a shame because the product does what it says, but I loathe the pump with a vengeance!

- 27/05/01 Yeh! I know what you mean about the pump. I usually unscrew the top and dab on from the dispensing tube thing! Less elegant but a lot less messier :) |

- 23/09/00 I got a free sample of this cream, and it's the best I've used.
You've certainly said it all - it's great stuff and I have yet to try the pump. |

- 08/07/00 Oil of Olay are you listening, get rid of the pump!
On the other hand, maybe they want the stuff in your lap so you need to buy more to put on your face. |
