Five out of five muppets agree that these polishes are worth a try

When OPI released their Muppet collection I was a little hesitant and so opted for the set of minis. The mini set contains four polishes Wocka Wocka, Excuse Moi, Designer de Better and Warm & Fozie. Normally when purchasing a set there will be at least one shade I'm not crazy about but I can confidently say I love and have gotten a lot of use out of all four shades.

What I love most about this collection is that there is a polish for every occasion. Wocka Wocka is an example of one of the more mature "grown up" shades. It's described as being dark berry in colour but from a distance looks more like a dark Christmas red. I've received many compliments while wearing this polish. My grandmother who frequents nail salons thought I'd gotten a professional manicure. This polish is one of the easiest polishes to apply. It doesn't drip dries quickly and you can get away with only applying two coats. Another positive about this collection is that all the polishes seem quite hard-wearing even compared to brands like Essie or China Glaze. With this collection I found I only had to paint my nails once a week. While with other collections I often find that the polishes begin to chip after only 2-3 days.

At the other extreme is Excuse Moi a more youthful pink glitter polish. Although not as easy to apply as Wocka Wocka it's still fuss free to apply. The only problem is getting it off. Even with quality nail polish remover it takes a bit of work. This polish is super girly and is sure to draw attention. I had one woman on the bus stop to ask me about it. If you're worried about how wearable it is don't fret. I often wear it with neutral plain clothes (e.g. black cardigan or black leather jacket) to avoid looking overly "girly girl".
Other glitter polishes in the range include Getting Miss Piggy With It (red), Devine Swine (dark purple), Fresh Frog of Bel Air (light Kermit green), Gone Gonzo (medium Gonzo blue) and Rainbow connection (rainbow multicolour explosion). If you're a fan of glitters you might be disappointed with the mini set as it only contains one glitter however if you're like me and enjoy the glittery look on occasion this won't be a problem. I like how the set contains a variety of polishes e.g. normal, glitter and metallic to give you an indication of whether or not you'll want to buy full versions of the other polishes.

The mini set contains one metallic that being Warm & Fozie. At first glance I anticipated this would be my least favourite polish but it's a lovely warm neutral and is perfect for Winter or Autumn/Fall. This shade really does remind me of Fozie Bear. Again this polish is easy to apply and thankfully a lot easier to remove than Excuse Moi.

The last polish in the set is Designer de Better which is described as a shimmery bronze. This shade is amazing and contains flickers of contrasting colours and so has the ability to look different at different angles or under different lights. At close inspection it has flickers of bronze but also gold and silver. This is one of the most multidimensional polishes I've tried. I admit at times I'd just stare at my nails in awe. Again this polish is easy to apply, fast to dry and easy to remove. The polishes in this set remind me of why OPI is so popular.

Other shades I haven't mentioned in the range include Pepe's Purple Passion (a dark purple which is quite similar to Wocka Wocka.. well enough so that I wouldn't buy it), Animal-istic (an incredibly bright fun red) and finally Meep Meep Meep (another red/purple shade described as fuchsia). If these polishes are anything like the four I've tried then I'm sure they are amazing. Gone Gonzo does appear to be the most unique of the shades though. If I had to give a favourite from the mini range it would be a tie between Wocka Wocka (which is so sophisticated in appearance you could wear it in an office) and Designer de Better (what a Chameleon of a nail polish).

I love this line! I reccomend it to all OPI fans!

I am in love with this line! Its amazing! When I first heard OPI was coming out with a Muppets line, I thought it would be a little childish and super lame, but I was surprised to find out that all the colors are very glamorous and fun! I would reccomend these to anyone who loves to have bright, sparkly, deep, and beautiful colors on their nails to show the world! OPI has always been my FAVORITE nail product brand, I love how not only are they healthy for your nails and won't cause "nail diseases and cancers" but their also super good quality and sometimes last for up to weeks on my finger nails and my toes. The brush on these quality bottles is also very helpful, the size of it is perfect to do exactly 3 stripes on my nails before getting a finished product. I would reccomend OPI's Muppet Collection to all!

Fantastic collection with some great colours

We recently got our hands on this amazing new collection from OPI, being a massive Muppets fan myself, I've been dieing to get my hands on this collection!

I'm afraid the UK will have to wait until Feb 2012 for Disney's "The Muppets", thankfully we don't have to wait that long for the 12 fantastic colours that come in this collection.

Inspired by the film's lively and colorful characters, OPI has launched twelve limited-edition Nail Polishes in time for the Christmas Season 2011.

"OPI is so excited to work with Disney to celebrate this long-awaited movie release" said Suzi Weiss-Fischmann, OPI Executive VP & Artistic Director. "Not only do The Muppets characters inspire fun, bright and joyful colors, the fashionable Miss Piggy lends her name to three high-shine pink-based hues, ranging from bold red flecked with silver to a multi-dimensional strawberry shade".

This line features six shimmery reds and neutrals, as well as six glitter-packed shades, including:

Animal-istic - This wild bright red cannot be tamed!
Meep-Meep-Meep - Missing out on this fuchsia would make you weep, weep, weep!
Wocka Wocka! - The popular deep berry makes everything fun and merry!
Pepe's Purple Passion - This deep, decadent shade is the best purple ever, okay!
Designer, de Better! - And this light metallic bronze is ready for the runway.
Warm & Fozzie - A feel-good shade of metallic copper.
Rainbow Connection - The rainbow glitter of your dreams.
Excuse Moi! - Ahem! This pink glitter has something to say!
Gone Gonzo! - The aqua-blue glitter is taking over the world!
Fresh Frog of Bel Air - A glitter that prefers the greener things in life.
Divine Swine - The finest, most fabulous magenta glitter ever.
Gettin' Miss Piggy With It! - Red glittery fun for everyone!

With Nail Polishes packed with micas and sparkle, it gives a 3-dimensional textured look, it really is bling for your nails! With colours ranging from textured glitters in rainbow, red, green and blue to softer shimmers in copper and bronze metallic hues, these twelve colours provide the perfect accessory for the holiday season.

As with all OPI nail lacquers, these colours inspired by Disney's "The Muppets" contain no DBP, Toluene, or Formaldehyde, and feature OPI's exclusive ProWideTM Brush for the ultimate in application

Here at www.justkrissi.com you can pick up each polish for £8.99!
