      Very helpful

      A nice little gift

      Over Christmas, I received so many different perfumes, shower gels, lip balms and every other kind of beauty product that I didn't know where to start.

      One of the presents that I received was a 'Parfums Love' set with two luscious lip balms and two small bottles of perfume. I have never heard of this product before or seen any of their items around different stores until just before Christmas this year but the packaging reminded me of love heart sweets which made me feel that this could be a cheap version of something designed for a child.

      == The Packaging ==

      This lip balm came in a gift set which was presented to me in a stripy cardboard box. The box was decorated in pastel colours but still stood out to me as it looked very girly and reminded me very much of the love heart sweets. I'm not sure if this product has anything to do with these sweets but they really do remind me of them!

      The lip balm itself is in a small 10ml pot which looks like a mushroom shape (the lip is bigger than the actual pot). The pot is a pale pink with a striped pastel coloured label. The label has the name 'you + me' in a purple heart and states that this is a 10ml pot. The lid of the pot is also pale pink and simply screws off and back on.

      == The Balm ==

      The lip balm is a dark reddy pink colour which looks very solid and sticky. If you get close enough to the pot, you pick up a hint of grape in the balm.

      If I rub my finger over the top of the lip balm, it comes off quite easily onto my fingers and can be evenly applied to my lips with a small amount. As I suspected, the first time I used this I found that my lips tasted like grape, which I love!

      == Would I buy again? ==

      In all honesty, I probably wouldn't go out and buy this for myself but I wouldn't throw it away if someone brought this as a gift for me again.

      When I first opened this present, I thought it would be like a child's cheap make up set and that I would never use it. But I must admit that I have used this and one of the perfumes a few times (which I will eventually review).

      I was reluctant to use the lip balm as, from loo king at it, I thought it would be very sticky and make my lips feel horrible. However, one day I had forgotten my own lip balm and this had somehow made its way into my handbag so I had to use it. I was surprised to find that the balm did not feel sticky at all once applied to my lips (it did feel sticky on my fingers) and kept my lips very well hydrated for a good few hours.

      I especially love the grape taste as I love anything that tastes like grape and I think this is one of the reasons why I have used this product as many times as I have since opening it, if I hadn't tried it I would have just avoided it forever!

      I would never have brought this lip balm for myself but I must say that I am very impressed with it after using it a few times. I wouldn't go out and buy this for myself but would always welcome it as a gift!

      I just thought I would point out that I had never seen this product before Christmas last year, where I saw it in the gift section in Superdrug, and have not come across it since the Christmas stock has all been taken down.
