In the past I've always used liquid nail polish remover which is great unless you need to remove your nail polish on-the-go like in the staff room at work or on the train and you have no cotton wool to put the nail polish remover on! This predicament led me to finding Patons nail polish remover pads. These pads come in a round, red plastic tub and include around 30 pads. The pads themselves do smell of the traditional nail polish remover but in my opinion that is an advantage; I love the smell! The pads are about 5cm across and 3cm across and 3cm down and I would recommend you use one pad per hand; you can use both sides of the pad! The pads are ... Read the complete review

I was shopping at my local discount store recently when I spotted two tubs of Patons Nail Polish Remover Pads on offer for £1.00. You get 30 pads in each tub, so getting 60 for a quid seemed like exceptional value to me. On the tub it also says that the "conditioning formula helps protect nails against drying and breaking." I was quite pleased when I read this, because in the past I've found that nail varnish dries my nails out. I like using nail varnish pads because it means that you can remove your varnish with one product - which is rather handy, rather than having to use separate cotton pads and nail varnish remover. The ... Read the complete review

I'm staying at my friends house at the moment before we go on holiday again (something we do rather often) and before getting back in the caravan and touring again I thought I would re do my shabby toenails however as I sat down with me socks off and my toes poised I asked me mate if she had any nail polish remover anywhere and she didn't so next time I was out I spotted these and decided to get them and at 79p a plastic tub for 30 pads I thought they had to be worth a try! The Packaging: Bright red plastic tub that you twist to the centre of it to open and close it. On the the top of the tub I'm told they are Patons Nail Polish Remover Pads and ... Just happened to have these sat next to me on the couch so thought I'd share my thoughts on them. - - - Packaging: - - - The pads come in a small bright red tub (approx 5cm in diameter). The lid screws shut securely to keep the pads from drying out. Each tub contains approximately 30 pads inside. - - - The Product: - - - To use the pads you should "predab" all your nails (one hand at a time) leave them for a few seconds then proceed to wipe away the nail varnish from your nails. It's pretty simple to do in theory but I find it takes a fair bit of rubbing to actually get the varnish off. Each pad is ... Read the complete review

Recently my daughter has started to go on shopping trips with her friends, minus any adults (a very exciting thing for her, and a very expensive and worrying thing for Mum!), and to give her some purpose i have started asking for a few small items for her to locate and buy for me. One of those items was the product i am now reviewing, this was initially her fault we had run out anyway, due to her recent fascination with make up and nail varnishes, so of course all of Mum's polishes and nail polish removers had been lifted and had all dissapeared into her pit of a bedroom! I gave only £1.50 (it's been a while since i actually purchased any!), and ... Read the complete review
