“ Brand: Philosophy / Type: Foundation / Subcategory: Brush „
I brought this back last summer from a shopping channel.
I wanted a light foundation so that if it was very hot it wouldn't melt or wear off with the heat, something that would be long lasting and stay put.
This product is like a very fine powder foundation. The powder stays in the bottom part of the pot and is applied by gently patting the sponge on the skin of face and neck. You can apply just one light layer to take the sheen off of your face, or you can build it up a bit for a foundation effect. The first time you use it, you will need to prime the puff on the top of the jar in order to start it working. I would suggest doing this on the back of your hand.
The first time I used it with a make up primer and it wasn't very hot. The powder hardly came out of the puff at all, I thought I just hadn't primed it properly so primed it again on the back of my hand, but it just gives out a very small amount at a time, probably to stop it all coming out at once and clumping.
To be honest with you I didn't find it a very goos product at all. I tried it once and it didn't cover anything, but still made my skin look chalky. I tried it a second time and put a lot more on this time. It still didn't cover my problem areas and didn't even manage to even out the skin tone a bit. It just very cakey and like I had powder on my skin, which is absolutely what I didn't want.
I didn't even bother to try it in the hotter wheather. I sent it back and got my money back. I wouldn't reccomment this product at all. I was not impressed and think it is very overpriced.
