      Great for holidays

I am a very big fan of philosophy products and use a lot of items from their range. I started off with a few things and have gradually tried and liked more and more.

Whenever I see a new item they bring out I am very eager to try it and will always try to buy it.

I buy a lot of items from a tv shopping channel. They do very good value kits, which means that although you spend a little more, you get a lot more value and products for your money and its a great way of trying out different products.

I first tried the supernatural as part of a kit for facial products from the range. The supernatural is basically like a tinted moisturiser. It has a peachy like colour to it but feels very soft when applying onto the skin. It would suit almost any skintone and as long as you blend it in a bit, its not at all orangey or cakey.

I sometimes use mine under foundation as a primer and other times, if I'm just popping out to the shops I just use this, depending on how my skin is at the time. It works really well as a primer because it evens out the skin ready for make up and covers any blemishes or uneven skintone.

I use mine almost everyday and it really does go a long way. You only need a very small amount for the whole face and this has become a part of my make up routine as I can always see a difference when I haven't used it.

I love this product and think that although it can be quite pricey to purchase at around £28 for a tube, but for that price you get an waful lot of product and it seems to last forever.

      Very helpful

A tinted primer with an SPF which blends in well.

      The Tube
The tube is a soft white plastic with a solid black screw top lid. On the front of the bottle is the brand and product name, information about the product and size of the tube which is 1.6oz. - 45.4g. On the back of the tube is more information about the product, directions, cautions, ingredients, contact information and the fact that the tube is recyclable. The directions, information and caution on the back of the tube is also repeated in French.

      My Opinion
When buying a QVC Philosophy Today's Special Value, Philosophy the Supernatural was included. It is stated that it is a poreless, flawless tinted SPF 15 in other words a tinted primer with an SPF of 15. I thought this would a good product to use in the autumn/winter on its own or under foundation. When unscrewing the lid and first squeezing the product out you notice the peachy colour and how light the product is, this to me is a good thing for a primer as I don't want to feel overly caked in makeup. When putting the product onto the face you just need to apply it evenly, like you would a moisturiser. Now my skin is light to medium and once applied blends in well and doesn't leave any tide marks. The product is silky soft and feels slightly moisturising; there is no smell to the product either. The product lasts all day and does help minimise pores, I can't say much for wrinkles as I don't have any yet. Now this product is great as it has an SPF in it as my daily moisturiser dosn't and I know you have to wear and SPF every day including cloudy weather. Although on the more expensive side it is one primer that I would use again especially if it comes in a Today's Special Value, I now have three tubes. I am still using the first one I got and it has lasted me four months so far and there is still some left. If you don't mind paying the price it is well worth it, if not I'm sure there is a primer out there for you.

      Price and Availability
Philosophy the Supernatural is available in John Lewis and online. The price is around £22.00 onwards, so you can see very expensive.
