I love lip glosses. I have a drawer full of them. So, I got really excited when I saw a new lip gloss range available on Space NK. This particular one advertised in the mail order catalogue is pink (my favourite colour!) and made by Philosophy. The description is, 'a luscious, soft, slightly iridescent, pink lip gloss that glides on to give lips a hint of colour and a kissable quality'. As I was very pleased with my other purchase also from the Supernaturals range, which was the tint and lip lacquer, I decided to give this pink lip gloss a try. I noticed that it did not get as much slack as the more famous tint and lip lacquer in most magazines. It was only mentioned once in the Marie Claire’s Health and Beauty magazine; in the beauty news section which highlights new products in the market.

When I received my parcel, boy, was I disappointed. The colour of the lip gloss was too light and it made my pale complexion even paler and it smells odd, like antiseptic cream, and hence it taste vile. At £12.00, this is not cheap either. Why it was described as "kissable quality" deeply puzzles me, as it taste too odd! The only consolation of buying this product is that it has a nice look and it does give a nice gloss, but then again, so will any other cheaper lip glosses! No wonder it didn’t get touted much in all the beauty mags! My advice is, save your money and give this lip gloss a PASS.
