      Advantages

      Disadvantages

A great make up bag must have...this is!

The one thing I can't do without on my face is a bit of blusher. I'm pale skinned, have no real cheekbones and have no problem faking it at whatsoever should the occasion rise lol.

I am a major fan of Playboy cosmetics though not best pleased about the packaging to be totally honest with you. Not because it isn't durable or anything but that to me it looks pretty childish however the make-up itself (as a rule) is excellent!

I spotted this during a recent shopping trip costing £6.00 in Superdrug (though do look for this online and I have found this particular blusher that I have on Amazon.co.uk for £3.99!).

      The Packaging:

The compact comes in a dark purple square box with bright pink writing on it. On the front of the box there is a picture of a bunny head and I'm told that it is First Blush and the weight is stated which is 15 oz/4.2g. On the back of the box other information stated includes ingredients being listed and being told that the product is not tested on animals and contact details for High Maintenance (the manufacturer of the product) are also stated. The compact itself is again bright pink and square in shape and it flips open and closes with ease. On the front of that it has a silver bunny head and on the back of it I'm again told the weight and the colour (in my case I chose Peach Bunny) and again contact details for the manufacturer are stated. Like I said earlier, to me it's all a bit cheap and childish looking but it is robust to be fair to it all.

      The Blusher:

Open up the case and you are met with a rather decent sized half moon shape of pressed powder blusher and under that you get a small but angled blusher brush.

This is absolutely and without a doubt my favourite blusher of the moment! It's quite simply rather great!

The powder itself is well set into the case. Sweep a brush over it (any brush will do you don't have to use the applicator provided of course!) and it comes off with ease and clings onto a brush without flaking anywhere or making a mess!

Applying it and blended it is is quite simply a doddle. I chose a subtle colour of course as I am pale skinned but if I want to I can build the colour up gradually. It goes on soft as silk, doesn't agitate my skin and lasts all day and until I chose to remove it.

The brush that is given, although small is great too and of great quality and soft and like the powder doesn't flake or do anything adverse. I like the fact very much that it's angled too making it easy for me to define and control the look I want with ease.

This is quite simply a great range of blushers. You get alot of product for your money and you don't have to top up the colour every five minutes. It doesn't seem to fade over time, doesn't block pores up and is so comfortable to wear you can simply forget it's there and this product is totally recommended from me. It's just a shame about the somewhat tacky packaging in my opinion!
