Advantages: Nice cooling effect: lovely in summer, Makes your skin glow, Non-cakey feel

Disadvantages: Price, Little brush is a bit fiddly, Can be too glittery if applied with a heavy hand

Liquid magic is a pretty unusual powder; instead of being dry and matt like nearly all other powders, liquid magic is moist on application, I liken it to being sprayed with a very very very fine mist of water when brushing it on. It's not cakey at all and feels as if you're wearing no powder at all; so if you are a first time powder wearer, perhaps you should try this.

The powder itself looks a little pink on first glance, but when you apply it, it is translucent. I have yellow-based asian skin and I don't find it pink-tinged at all. It is a little 'sparkly' but if you avoid the oily parts of your face, it has a nice effect. I usually brush it across my eyelids, cheeks, neck and sometimes a little over my ears (if I wear my hair up). However, make sure you use it minimally, otherwise you'll look like a 5 year-old playing with glitter!

The container is quite large, so you get quite a bit for what you paid (even though the price is a steep considering, its only a powder and 90% of it's water) but if you don't ensure that the lid is screwed on well, I assume alot of the water content will evaporate. Clipped into the lid of the container is a slide-out brush. The brush isn't too bad, but the bristles are a little short and could be slightly longer (perhaps with a shorter handle) so the plastic handle doesn't scrape across your face. Overall the packaging isn't too bad.

Hiya and welcome!

How much is this product? You say it's expensive, but then don't list a price, where can i get it from? Do you use it instead of/with foundations? is is hypoallergenic? how do you know it's 90% water? These are the sort of questions I'm asking myself after reading your review, now that's not to say it wasn't good because it was. it was well laid out, well spelt and good to read, but a little shy on info on the product.

I'm sure you'll get on fine, just read (and rate) a few ops around the site and you'll soon get the hang of things.

Welcome again and have fun. Fishbulb >><>?™

I wondered what this was all about until I read it! Not for me as I don't use powder (phew!)
