This range was launched last year in the US and has come to the UK more recently. There's quite a collectionif products in the range, which have received varying reviews in the media etc. The one item I was actually tempted to buy was the Liquid Magic Powder - not least because it is something genuinely a little out of the ordinary - and that's not easy to find in cosmetic circles these days!
Perhaps the most striking thing aout the product is the feel of it when you put it on - it really is like brushing cold water on your face. If you dip your finger in the powder it feels really wet and cold - in a nice kind of way.
The product is designed to give tired/jaded complexions a 'glow'. I use it on top of foundation/powder & can hardly see it (I'm very pale) - but I'm pleased about this. It gives, for me, a very, very subtle luminosity.
I usually choose to wear this on those 'not enough sleep/bad wrinkle days' and it really helps me to look less haggard and gives a more polished, groomed look.
Some people have commented on the beauty boards that it's too pink/orange or that it has too much shimmer for the purpose for which it's intended. I would disagree as long as (and this is important) it's used with a *very* light touch. I would suggest that this is suitable for all skin tones (including Black/Asian) but it's probably going to be something more mature/dryer skins are interested in.
