      Advantages

      Disadvantages

      Brill Primark keep these coming!

I don't know about you ladies but when I see a mascara priced at a pound (usual price) I walk straight past it without any thought at all. I usually pay quite a bit for a mascara hoping to get good quality and ease of use from it (rarely doing so though lol) but when I saw a new range of 3 colours of mascara's (bright green, pink and blue) in Primark I simply had to try one!Loads of other people were buying it so I did think do they know something I don't but also I picked out the blue shade as I don't want to pay a fortune for that as I can't see my self wearing it very often at all and I just wanted to see really what it looked like on me more than anything else!

      The Packaging....

Well as I have said already my mascara is electric blue in colour so it comes in a blue coloured long tube with a white opaque long lid to one side that simply twists on and off and holds within that a long white plastic 'wand' and a long thickish white brush to the end of it (which of course is covered in your chosen colour. On the side of the tube I'm told it's Coloured Mascara 'Designed To Give You Lavish Lashes' and the size is stated on a sticky see through label on the back of the tube (0.28 FL.Oz/8ML). On the bottom of the tube there is a small, white round label on there and on that contact details for Primark are given. It's a nice enough simple tube if not a bit cheap looking but least it doesn't say Primark all over it! It comes in a clear and white long bag and on that again I'm told what it is, the price is on there (£1.00), ingredients and cautions are listed and finally there is a bar-code on there and it hangs up in said bag in the cosmetic section of the store.

      The Mascara....

I'm surprised with this product. I mean really shocked!....

First off it's easy to use and the mascara itself when first opened is like a smooth paste (no lumps) and coats the brush very easily indeed. The brush isn't hairy as such but made of rows of bristles of which comb through the lashes with ease and precision.

Now if like me you have dark eyelashes one coat of this isn't enough. I find I need 2 or 3 coats to disguise my own natural colouring but it's easy to do and doesn't weigh lashes down or anything so really, it's no big problem.

I find this mascara lengthens my eyelashes and defines and separates them beautifully. It doesn't clog my eyelashes together or make them look glued up and this is actually one of the most straightforward products I have ever used. Yes I'm shocked to hell by it too! lol. It's great lol.

Mistakes (if you make any which I don't with this) are easy to correct. Eyelashes (in my case) look electric blue and flirty and fabulous. However there is one drawback to this (you knew there would be right lol).

If you like glossy lashes this isn't for you. I love it but it does give somewhat of a powdery look to the eyelashes. Yes it still stands out and of course it isn't powdery at all but I can't call it glossy and glamorous and for that reason although it's blue for me it's more of a daytime product than a night and do I really wanna be wearing blue like an 80's reject in the daytime...erm no actually I don't ta lol.

      Overall...

Easy to apply, easy to remove this is fabulous and worth you giving it room in your make up bag to. I love it, will happily wear of an evening to vamp up my look and it's so comfortable to wear it's unreal! I heartily recommend this to you for a pound a go and this new range of Primark products for a quid is a brilliant way to test out new and bang on trend looks! Brill Primark!
