Im a big fan of Primark and even more so now that they have started selling make up. Im in there quite a bit and when they first brought out their make up it was only sold in the larger stores, but now all the stores have it. They have all the basics like mascara, eyeliner and eyeshadow and most of the stuff is really cheap so if its not brilliant its not a waste of a lot of money. Anyway, i was soo excited when i heard a rumour about them selling a highlighter, similar to Benefits High Beam. I managed to get a bottle that was priced at £1, but when i got to the till the lady told me it was only 50p! This is by far the cheapest i have ever paid for make up ... Read the complete review

Are you yet aware that Primark does make up??? Well I certainly am! In fact they have been stocking a large range of make up in my local store since it opened but recently they have added absolutely loads to the range and as you can imagine it really is flying out of the store as most of it is marked up 99p a piece (in fact I've seen nothing as yet above that price) and in alot of cases you get 2 nail varnishes and 2 eyeliners for that price as well (usual sizes too). I however need no make up but I can't resist buying the odd item at the prices they are offered at and have found I've been really able to update my look (and keep looking glam and bang on trend) ... It wasn't until very recently, thanks to "foxyred's" great reviews, that I became aware of the fact that Primark sell toiletries and make-up. Although they have quite a good range of make-up items it did take me a while to find the make-up stand, hidden away in amongst their many stands of clothes, but I am so glad I did. Primark's make-up products all come in little sealed clear plastic bags with the product information printed on the top of the bag where it is then hung onto their make-up stand. Nearly all items in their make-up range are priced at £1, except for the odd couple of bigger items, which are maybe £2 or £3. The first ... Read the complete review

I onyl started using highlighter a few years ago and got sucked into buying Benefit's miss popularity for quite a high price. I loved it, it worked well and of course the packaging was gorgeous. I used it sparingly though as I did not want to run out and have to invest in some more! I was browsing the shelves in Primark, as I do quite regularly, and I stumbled acorss their make up stand. I had heard they had started doing make up so I decided to have a browse through and see what they have on offer. I noticed they had a pink pot of highlighter reduced from one pound to fifty pence and I decided that for that price I just couldnt go wrong, I just had to try ... Read the complete review

Everytime I go in Primark, which is a LOT! I always notice the make up's been reduced or on sale so I stay well clear. My opinion is if it's £1 then reduced to 50p, its basically cheap rubbish. Im addicted to liquid eyeliner, I've worn it everyday since about 16, so I've tried a lot of different brands, found some good and lots of useless ones. As I'm wearing it through the day I need something thats going to last all day, not leak or crack. Whilst shopping in primark one day I realised I'd run out of eyeliner and was going out that night and NEEDED some more QUICK so due to convenice I went to look at primarks. It was a £1 and the only thing that ... Read the complete review
