I'm really loving Primark make-up at the moment! Most of the stuff is priced at £1.00 a product and is bang on trend as well as affordable and in my local store (Coventry) we have absolutely loads of choice with it really flying off the shelves at the rate of knots! I can't stop buying it to update my look cos it's so cheap and very cheerful and so far I've been really pleased with the results I've achieved with the range!

At almost 35 I'm very wary of looking mutton dressed as lamb though. I mean I look younger (so I'm told) but I like my make-up to be classy rather than common and I wear nice clothes and stuff so why spoil myself by looking over done? Well that's my way of thinking anyway!

However I'm not dead either! I do go out alot either with my bf or my mates and I do like late nights and partying till dawn (like last night lol).

When I saw this little pot of shimmer dust designed for the the face I decided to buy it but as I say I was incredibly wary and didn't want to be a fairy fallen off a Christmas tree or owt. I purchased it and never thought I'd use it to be perfectly honest with you but how wrong was I? This stuff is absolutely the dogs.......

The Packaging....

The clear plastic 7.5g pot comes in a see through and white hanging bag which on the front tells me it's a Primark Essentials product and that of course it is shimmer dust 'designed to make you shimmer' and the price is stated in the top right hand corner. On the back contact details for Primark are given as are the ingredients and cautions and the shade is stated (in this case it's Number 17 and I saw two shades to choose from one darker than this on the shelves), the weight is stated and finally there is a bar-code on there. The pot as I have said is clear so you can see the dust inside and I'm again told what it is on the front and it has a white screw on/off lid to the top of it and a salt cellar style shaker where the dust comes out of and sits on the top. Very simple but cheap looking product, a really great size and total value for money in my opinion...this is.

The Dust....

I can't tell you how simply brilliant this is! I will have one slight moan though before I bang on about how you need to go Primark NOW before the fashion world catches on to this product and it gets sold out though!

The only problem I have is that when I unscrew the lid no matter how careful I am it flakes everywhere. The holes in the top of the tub are too big so you get a huge layer of dust available which does make it messy. However it's a small gripe about a great product!

Basically you can use this anywhere on your body without it being irritating (I have sensitive skin). Take a big brush and dust where desired. It has no smell to it and the colour I have (as the other one was too) is very shimmery though not glittery which means it doesn't flake everywhere once applied.

For me I like to do all my make up and then use it over my regular blusher for an added glow. I can of course highly glow or pat it down with pressed/loose powder over the top of it , use it alone whatever...it's versatile as to how you want to use it.

It really does add a shimmer and like I say you can tame it down or vamp it up and once applied it stays put till you remove it fresh, bright and shimmery and removes easily when you choose to.

Verdict....

A pot of this will last you months even if your heavy handed with it and get addicted to using it. It's so multi purpose as well and not only could you use it how I've mentioned already but you could use this as eye-shadow (like Barry M and Gosh pots) and use it to highlight eyes subtly. For me this will always be mainly used as a highlighter to define my face and when I had it on the other night to go to the pub with bf he commented on my cheekbones which normally he doesn't. I can't recommend this highly enough for any age of woman because it's up to you how you fit it into your look so don't be scared!

Are you still here by the way...tut tut tut lol.

Only available in Primark stores.

Summary: My light pinkish colour is so gorgeous!
