I like to try and take my make-up off fully before going to bed but like most people I can be lazy and resort to wipes. The thing about make-up remover wipes is that they never fully remove make-up and they can be really expensive. I tried the Pure wipes as they were on offer in poundland for 2 packets for a pound so I thought they would be worth trying and seeing if they were any good. At that price I was sure even if they weren't all that great at least I wasn't spending a lot of money on them.

Each packet contains 25 wipes so 50 wipes for a £1 seemed like good value. They come in a re-sealable packet like most wipes do and they have a three in one action for cleansing toning and removing make-up.

As I said I would only think of using facial wipes when I was being extremely lazy for example after a night out where I couldn't be bothered to properly clean and tone my face. I also like to use them if I have heavy make-up to just remove the majority of my make-up before cleansing properly.

I used these until I ran out but I wasn't overly impressed with them. They did an ok job of removing most of the visible make-up but they just never left my skin feeling particularly clean. I also noticed that I had to use a minimum of three wipes every time before they shifted the majority of my visible make-up. I also ended up having to wipe really hard to ensure that my eye make-up was removed so they weren't particularly gentle.

They also stung a little on my skin and afterwards I was left looking a little flushed and irritated. I have sensitive skin anyway but some wipes feel gentle enough to use without this happening.

These wipes were ok and I would buy them again but only really as a back-up in case I run out of my better ones.
Because they were so cheap in comparison to the other ones I buy I would look past their faults such as the need for using more than one to remove make-up as even though I had to use a few they still worked out considerably cheaper than most other ones I buy. If you have sensitive skin then I wouldn't recommend these but if not it might be worth stocking up on some since they are so cheap.
