Pure 3 in 1 Make-Up Removal Wipes

I'm always impressed with some of the things you can pick up in poundland and making a regular shelf presence are these 3 in 1 make-up removal wipes by Pure priced at two packs for £1, which is great value when you see the prices Boots and supermarkets charge for these types of wipes.

The 3 in 1 wipes come in a plastic wrapping that is purple and white. On the top of the packet the is a resalable hole where you pull the wipes out of, one you have one you close the sticky tape and put it face down on a flat surface to keep them fresh and moist in the packet. You get 25 individual wipes in each packet and these are really easy and simple to pull out - you don't end up with ten of them at once and fighting to get them back in!

As well as being make-up remover wipes, Pure claim that these cleanse and tone your skin and are gently hydrating which leaves the skin smooth, refreshed and radiant. I wouldn't totally disagree with this statement, but I don't think they're the best on the market by any means.

To use the wipes you remove a single sheet and rub over your face to remove your make up, I find that you have to rub quite sternly to get a good result (by a good result I mean that the entire wipe is covered in beiges and black colours!). The sheets are relatively moist, however I prefer a more saturated sheet that also makes removing your make up much less of a battle.

The wipe itself is a smooth surface and it has a good thickness so that it doesn't tear or disintegrate during use. I tend to use one wipe per night and this does a good enough job to make me feel like I have removed most if not all of my make-up. However my skin doesn't feel particularly nourished or radiant after using it, just clean and smooth so I think they're exaggerating for marketing purposes.

Overall I like this wipe for its price and the fact that it does remove my make-up and leaves me with clean feeling skin. I would prefer it to have more moisture absorbed into the sheet which I think would improve its performance greatly. An average 3 out of 5 stars from me.
