Advantages: Design, quality, applies make-up perfectly, soft bristles

Disadvantages: None

Real Techniques is an amazing line of high quality make-up brushes designed by Samantha Chapman, a professional make-up artist & popular YouTube beauty guru. Like most of her subscribers, I was incredibly excited when Boots started selling her brushes earlier in the year and I decided to buy a couple to try as soon as I could get my hands on them.

I was really impressed and decided quite recently to buy a couple more, with the stippling brush being one of my purchases. I use this brush daily and it's one of my favourites out of all of my Real Technique brushes. Like a majority of the brushes in the Real Technique line the brush is bright pink which I love - it still looks sleek and reasonably simplistic despite being eye catching and a little more funky than a majority of my many other make-up brushes.

The flat top brush is very simply designed. It has a long, slender handle with synthetic taklon bristles. The handle is easy to grip due to the very slight curve in the middle and it is very lightweight. It's bright pink with a black base and the brand name is written on the side along with 'by Samantha Chapman' in handwriting style writing which I think is a nice touch. The brush can be kept stood up thanks to the handles flat base which saves on storage space and it looks quite nice stood on my dressing table with my other favourite brushes.

The bristles are hand-cut and soooo soft! They're extremely good quality and gentle on my skin with no stray bristles and I've had no shedding in the few weeks that I've had the brush. I've washed it around four times and the bristles haven't lost their softness or shape. The short, dense bristles makes it ideal for applying foundation, especially liquid foundation. It works just as well with powders and I use it mainly for foundation, finishing powder, blush and bronzer.

It blends concealer nicely as well so it's definitely a multi-purpose brush, making it worth every penny. I love the finish that the brush gives and my make-up - my foundation in particular always looks flawless and natural - no patchiness, uneveness or streaking at all. I am able to apply my make-up quickly and evenly with this and it blends perfectly as well. I tried it with a new cream blush recently and it looked amazing! I absolutely love this brush. Although it is slightly pricey at £12.00 it's well worth it & I highly recommend it.

Five out of five stars.
