When shopping in Superdrug, I was on the lookout for a new lip gloss.. after staring at the variety on display and looking at the testers I decided to purchase this one.

This is actually called ColorStay Ultimate Liquid Lipstick.
I would of thought it was a lip gloss but i'd say it's a lot better than the standard lip glosses as it doesn't feel as heavy or wet on the lips.

I do really like this lipstick, i'm sure it's going to last me a long time but when it eventually does run out it's one i'd definitely replace.

It comes in a variety of shades - looking at the superdrug website these are:

Top Tomato
Premium Pink
Nude
and Icon Iris.

*Edit* I've just looked on Boots website and they stock even more shades - so they may be worth looking into.. other shades available are:

Grand Garnet, Prime Pink, Stellar Sunrise, Prized Peach, Best Bubbly, Maximum Mocha and Supereme Sienna.

The one I have is Icon Iris. I like that it's not a really bright shade and one I can wear daily. It looks more natural but adds a nice colour to your lips.

It comes in a long tube. There is plastic wrapping around it which you need to take off - this shows that it's not been used before and is completly new. On removing this plastic and unscrewing the black lid at the top - pulling the lid out will reveal the liquid lipsticks brush. It's a nice small sponge brush which is really easy to apply onto your lips.

The Superdrug website states the product description to be:

Revlon Colorstay Ultimate Liquid Lipstick is the first and only one-step lipstick that has it all, with comfortable food-proof wear for up to 12 hours. No topcoat or touch ups required, shades give coverage soft satin shades.

I'd have to agree with the food-proof wear as I went out for lunch wearing it and no touch ups were required, it still looked fine. It says you can wear it for up to 12 hours but I do a touch up during the day, although the colour does not come off I feel the touch up helps.

The liquid lipsticks price is £8.99 at superdrug and the same price at boots. I feel it's a good price for the product and would have no problem recommending it.

It's a lovely liquid lipstick which I can't fault, I really like the shade and the overall look on my lips and I feel it does stay on well on my lips - although i'm not sure it can go the full 12 hours without a touch up, I don't think it's a big deal.

I give the product 5/5 stars as I like it.
