Advantages: It sure is water proof

Disadvantages: Stays put even when you dont want it to

I recently got a new job and the fact that I was going to be in the public eye so to speak I wanted to look good. I went out on the search of a mascara that would make my eyes look wonderful. I thought that I had found it with this mascara after all the hype the commercials had put into it. Was it to live up to what the commercials were saying? I was soon to find out.

When I put this package in my buggy and continued on my way I noticed that the brush was not in the pot as most other Mascara's come this made me wonder if that was in indication of its high quality. I could not wait to get home and give this nice little pot of magic a try. I was sure it was going to be wonderful.

After arriving home and putting away the other few items I got I went up stairs to try out my new mascara. I noticed that the reason the brush was not in the pot was that the pot was sealed with its own cap for shipping purposes. Before putting the brush in the pot I took a good long look at the brush. It had 2 different length bristles on the brush one seemed to be for covering the lashes with the mascara and the other was for separating the mascara covered lashes. I removed the cap that came on the pot and put the brush into the pot.

That's when I noticed the first problem the brush was very hard to put into the pot. I thought that maybe there was a stopper in the pot preventing it from entering but I was wrong. This was just how this pot was made. Once I had twirled the brush around in the pot I tried to pull it out. I was very hard to get out as well. I was not sure how it would have any mascara on the brush if removing the brush was so hard to do. Once the brush was out of the pot I noticed that there were large clumps on the brush I thought for sure that there would be no mascara on the brush once again I was wrong.

As I tried to remove as much of the excess mascara as I could before applying it to my eyelashes I was hoping for an even coating. As I looked at my self in the mirror I was appalled to see my lashes covered with huge clumps of mascara. This was not what I had in mind when I got this mascara. I tried it on several occasions with no luck. I have come to the conclusion that if you like clumpy lashes then this mascara is the one for you. How ever if you want even coverage then you had better keep looking.

The mascara was water proof and all most impossible to get off. Even when trying to remove it there were still huge clumps that would not budge. Too bad they cant get a mascara that covers evenly with this ones staying power. Then it might be a good mascara.

Summary: Not what I was looking for.
