Advantages: Moisturising, good colours, affordable

Disadvantages: Rubs off fairly easily

Revlon are known for their high quality lip products and this Just Bitten balm definitely lives up to the brands reputation. I was expecting the balm to create quite a weak colour but was nicely surprised by how bold they actually turned out to be.

Though creamier, silkier and more moisturising than lipsticks, Revlon have managed to still integrate high pigmentation into their balms. The shades are vast - from hot pinks to cool corals - and each requires little more than a simple swipe and you're good to go.

Unlike lipsticks and lipstains which can really dry your lips out, Just Bitten lip balm's are specifically designed to retain moisture within to keep lips looking lush and hydrated throughout the day. I found my lips to feel amazing for around 3 hours but I did sense the lipbalm had rubbed off after a while.

Both the moisture and the colour weakened over time and I found re-application to be neccessary.

You can easily select the vibrancy of the colour on your lips by pressing firmly for a more vivid shade, and lightly for a light wash of colour. The lipbalm is also easily smudged across the lips with your finger if you prefer a less precise appearance.

The balm itself has a 'crayon' like appearance and is pretty and cute. The item is not a sophhisticated make up tool, but is great for a pop of moisture and colour on the go.

Summary: Great for a touch of colour and moisture on the move
