Clogged up Lashes! (Revlon Lash Fantasy Mascara)

This mascara was bought for me as I can not often buy them where I live in Dar Es Salaam. So it was chosen for me, which I am very grateful for!

This mascara is waterproof with a two step formula, and promises "to deliver 5x the impact, with triple the lift and double the thickness". It sounds too good to be true.

It comes in a clear package, so you can see the product from all angles. The packaging is made from that hard annoying plastic, which can be difficult to open. Once opened, the product is fat and chunky to hold. It has two ends which both open, the primer and the mascara. Both are equal quantities, 4.4ml, which is not very big at all! The primer has a white lid and the mascara has a black lid. The middle section is blue as it is waterproof. It is small and compact so can fit into your bag very easily.

The brushes are very similar, apart from the black one has a slight curve to it. They are quite short and dumpy, nothing special.

The product itself has not really impressed me. I apply the white primer first and then put the black on top. This mascara is meant to make our eyes look wonderful with curvy sexy lashes!! But the truth is they made my eyes very clogged up and not that long. It is meant to be waterproof, but it comes off in the shower!

So, obviously I would not recommend this product. It is a reasonable price, £4.99, and from a reputable company, Revlon, but the product has not done anything for my eyes, apart from make them look clogged up! I do not think the double application helps, as this is bound to make lashes look thicker (in my case three lashes stuck together!).

So, all in all, I was very grateful to receive a much needed mascara, but would definitely choose another type.

Summary: Not for me!
