Advantages: lasts ages
Disadvantages: rather expensive
A few months ago, lets say about 8, I desperately needed some new nail polish as all I had left was very, very old bottles of the stuff which I have had for years, so they had all gone gloopy, and would not have been to spread over my nails.
Anyway, I decided to treat myself, and spent rather alot of money in my opinion on one little bottle. When I got home, I instantly put some on my nails, because I do that with any new stuff that I buy! The colour that got my attention was the one called plum attraction. I bought this particular colour because I do tend to prefer dark nails to light. Unlike other varnishes, I quite liked the colour of this one, with only one coat on, however I still put a second coat on, just to ensure that it stays on for as long as possible.
This coat lasted quite a long time, but then again that was what I was expecting after spending 7£ on it, something I would never have usually done. The bottle is fairly big (which might explain the price) compared to any of the other bottles of varnish that were on display around it, other than the colour that was naturally what drew me to buying it. With a bottle that big, it easily lasts a very long time (I cant say how long because I still have half a bottle left) that is after 8 months of use, it must be good.
It is made by revlon, which in the past I have felt to quite good make up even if it does cost the earth to buy it, but as I said, for me it is a treat, and something I dopnt buy all that often.
A few weeks ago, I had a bit of spare change so I went into boots again just to see if they had any cheap make up, and to my surprise I saw that the same revlon nail polish, had gone down from £7 to £4. At this I thought that I had to have another bottle, just to bulk up my selection. I looked in boots other make up sections and found that they had bottles, that were cheaper, but also smaller. I picked up the colour I liked (I can't remember the make), went around the corner to the revlon section and saw this price difference and immediately put the other bottle back on its shelf and bought revlon again! This time I went for midnight affair, another dark one! Another very good buy!
Overall, I would definately recommend this nail polish as it lasts longer than average nail polish, it doesn't give too bnad a smell and it does some very nice colours as well!
