Revlon Nail Polish
Advantages: Lovely range of colours in the collection
Disadvantages: Can chip if no top coat applied
I have recently begun building up my nail polish collection as I am trying to grow my nail and thought that painting them might be a good motivator! I bought a Revlon nail polish in shade 762, Plum Attraction, which is a gorgeous darker purple shade. Revlon do a whole range of beautiful colours however, I think there is something for everyone!
The Revlon nail varnishes are housed in the traditional glass bottles, with a black screw top lid with the word Revlon written on a gold background around the rim. The lids is fairly long, which I like as it means when you unscrew the lid to use the brush you have a really good hold on it which means that you can get a more even application! When I apply the polish I find you definitely need two coats to get a true match to the colour inside the bottle, only applying one coats leaves it looking a little uneven in terms of colour.
In terms of chipping, I find that without a top coat this polish lasts around two to three days before it starts noticeably chipping, this time is lengthened by applying a decent top coat. Often though I think the nail polish chipping is likely down to the job that I do, which is working with children and has me running around all day doing crafts etc.
This nail polish retails for around £6 in boots and superdrug, it can often be found on offer in these stores though so if you want to purchase some be sure to take advantage of any offers, it means better value for money!
4/5 for this product!
Summary: A lovely nail polish which applies well and looks lovely
