I love very other product I''ve tried in the Revlon Photoready line, so I thought that the cream blushes would be just as good and bought two [Pinched and Flushed] at the same time. A buy that I''m beginning to regret. I''m reluctant to say that this a bad product, as the formula is top-notch in how well it applies; it so extremely easy to blend into skin, perhaps too good...
Pinched is a peachy shade, that looks lovely in the pot but barely shows up on my fair skin. I have the skintone of Casper, so I was really surprised that the shade barely shows up. I''ve tried layering the colour, but as the product blends so well on skin, layering it makes no difference; the formula seems to just melt away into my skin.
The way the formula blends so well and melts explains my problem with Charmed. Charmed is a bright pink, that looks scary in the pot, but applies as a sheer and wearable brightening pink. I fell in love with this colour as soon as I applied it, so I was upset by the lasting power; the blush can barely last five/six hours on skin - and my skin is very dry. I''ve tried setting the blush with powder, but the doesn''t make any difference, and defeats the purpose of using this rather then a powder blush in the first place.
I was so underwhelmed with the performance of the shades above that I''ve never bothered buying the third available shade, despite liking the colour when I swatched it in Boots. Coral Reef is a warm toned coral, and is similar to Charmed in that the shade applies a fair bit lighter then it appears in the pan. Judging by how sheer it applied, I''d guess that it will fade as quickly as Charmed does on me, so unless I see it on sale anywhere I just can''t justify the price.
I''ve rated the blushes 3 stars as I do still wear them - only on days I''ll just be out for a few hours, as they aren''t suitable for ''all day'' looks. Such a shame the colour pay off is so iffy, as they give my cheeks a nice luminous glow.

I love make up. I love to try out new things yet I am rather selective and only replace something with something else after its run out. I like my products to work hard for me as life is too short to be constantly primping! So when one of my blushes ran out I was looking to find something which would be long lasting as well as giving my complexion a rosy flush.
I am a long time reader of beauty blogs (which are terrible enablers for buying products I don't need!) and I had seen the new Revlon Photo Ready Blush popping up across a few of them with good reviews. I tested it in store and it was promising so I purchased the bright coral colour which is named coral reef.
It comes in a really sleek screw top plastic pot which is clear so you can see the colour through the product. It's the perfect size and won't take up that much room in a purse or make up bag.
The formula is really creamy and dries down to a matte finish. I have tried a lot of cream blushes which are very "sticky" this blush is not like that it is kind of like a powder in cream form, if that makes any sense! The promotional literature relating to this product says that the colour is buildable which is certainly true. In fact application is pretty much fool-proof as the daunting shade in the pan blends to a really natural finish.
--Uses and Wear--
Although this is primarily a blush you can also use it as a wash colour for the lips. I love it when products are multitasking as it saves time and space in my make-up bag when I am on the go. Also when going for a more natural make up look I think it looks really cool to have both lips and cheeks matching.
The colour is very vibrant and really perks up my complexion whilst being really natural and flattering. It also wears really well and I don't have to touch up during the day when wearing it on my cheeks. On my lips I like to use it as a wash of colour with a balm on top for moisture. You may need to prep your lips with a scrub before-hand as If you have dry lips it will emphasise them in the wrong way!
Of course you can use this product throughout the year but I think it really comes into its own during the Summer. It is just so easy and fuss free, can stand the heat and looks just as good in the evening as when first applied in the morning.
At the time of writing this product comes in only three colours - a bright pink (flushed)and muted peach (pinched) - however, I think each of these colours are ultra-flattering and wearable for the majority of skin colours and tones. It is current retailing in Boots for £7.99 although you can make it a bargain when it is included in Boots legendary 3 for 2s! You get a lot of product for your money, I have had mine for a month and use it a lot and I have still barely made a dent in it.
I am really impressed by this product so much so that I may have to break my rule of only replacing empty products and try one of the other colours! It's a high performing product which is perfect for my low maintenance , wash and go ways!
