As mentioned in some previous reviews my partner is always saying that I am an advertising mans dream with my attraction for special offers and bargains. I am a complete sucker for additional advantage points and free gifts in boots along with 3 for 2 offers or BOGOFs however, I think I excelled myself this time with the product this review is about. I used to work in Nottingham and in the days before I was a trainer and required my car to travel to and from work I would bus it into the city centre so on the walk down to the train station I would pass Boots and vice versa on the way home. Working in Nottingham and travelling on the bus was a ... Read the complete review

I am desperate for that healthy and fresh glow that screams 'I've just come back from a month in Mauritius or some other equally exotic place!' but unfortunately, most of the time I just look greasy and sweaty! I have spent an absolute fortune on useless products but now I've definitely found my wonder product - Revlon Skinlights Face Illuminator! This 'illuminating' lotion promises to brighten up skin and give you a luminous, radiant complexion, whether used by itself or under foundation. It even claims to contain a crystal complex and vitamins C and E - I think the Vitamin ... Read the complete review

I got this as part of a birthday present last year, appareantly it would stop me looking so pastey and sickly. Charming I thought, 21st birthday and you're basically told that you look as though you're going to keel over. Or words to that effect anyway! I was give the peach light version, however there are probably other shades as we can't all have the same skin tone. After a few days of using it though, I subsided into the fact that it is quite good stuff. As I have no opinion of the other shades I'll stick to my peach one. On pale skin it gives a subtle sheen, especially when put in the correct places. Personally I choose to apply to my ... Read the complete review

I am not one of those fortunate creatures that have an English rose complexion. Even though I follow a good skin care routine I still have the very sallow, slightly jaundiced variety. I have always yearned for, and never had, dewy glowing skin like those Hollywood goddesses Jean Harlow and Mae West. Even in the days long past when I foolishly exposed my skin to the potent, damaging rays of the sun I used to end up looking dirty faced rather than with a golden glowing tan. Discovering Revlon Skinlights face illuminator was, therefore, a small miracle for me. I first chanced upon this product whilst browsing the cosmetic stall of my local weekly ... I have been using this product for over a year now and am on my second bottle. I love it so much that I am not planning to replace my heavier foundation when it runs out as I only want to use this, of course, I'll keep some concealer on my makeup bag for those emergencies! Skin lights comes in 4 shades to suit all skin colours. I use the very lightest shade as I have very pale skin. It costs £9 ish from all Revlon counters and is readily available in Boots. Skin lights is made by Revlon and aims to reflect light to brighten your complexion. Apparently light reflecting pigments in foundation and face cream make skin look more youthful so its ...
