Advantages: subtle colour but makes a difference

Disadvantages: putting on too much.

I got this as part of a birthday present last year, appareantly it would stop me looking so pastey and sickly. Charming I thought, 21st birthday and you're basically told that you look as though you're going to keel over. Or words to that effect anyway!

I was give the peach light version, however there are probably other shades as we can't all have the same skin tone. After a few days of using it though, I subsided into the fact that it is quite good stuff.

As I have no opinion of the other shades I'll stick to my peach one. On pale skin it gives a subtle sheen, especially when put in the correct places. Personally I choose to apply to my cheeks although I have heard that it looks Ok on your forehead. I'm unconvinced.

This I find gives a more natural look than using full on blusher. It gives a bit of colour but not so much that even if you do apply more than necessary you're not going to be mistaken for a drag queen.

You can also use this to highlight under your eyebrows. I've never tried this but I'd advice going a bit careful. Despite its light colouring, when out in the sun or even any kind of light, it does glitter quite a bit.

It even has a nice scent about it. Slightly perfumy and sweet but not overpowering.

To use it just squirt a bit onto your finger or maybe some cotton wool, and then lightly dab it into where you want your face to be a bit more illuminated.

The packaging is slightly different to the one shown in the picture. Still with the same colouring it's just it's in a tube-a bit like a toothpaste tube only the plastic is more firmer. Once you're got the lid off you just have to press the button down and the make up will come out.

It's best to be a bit careful. The lid is a bit stiff so you may press harder and then you'll have too much and nowhere to get it off. I find that the best way to get the shimmer off of your hands is by washing them. Rubbing them off doesn't always work. Bit of soap and water will do the job!

I really like this product, although not a lot of shops I've been in sells it. It's an excellent buy, costing me about £2.97. If you use it correctly it can last for ages, providing a more glowing and healthier appearance for you.

I's amazing how many 'gifts' are actually veiled insults! :)
