When I went on holiday recently I only expected to be away about a week or so and so I only packed a minimal amount of make-up. After almost a month of wearing the same make-up stuff as I away for much longer than I had anticipated I got totally bored as using the same products day in day out and after-all my Mate ran a pub and I felt I simply constantly appeared the same!
I did end up buying loads of new stuff and decided that I wanted some new make-up however I didn't want to spend the earth due to owning so many products already at home! Saying that though as a rule I don't like cheap make-up so when I saw this Vital Radiance range stuff (Revlon) in Poundland I decided it was really worth getting it to try Cheer my look up with!
Round light beige compact with a flip top lid to the top of it which has a plastic 'window' to the top of it and on the base of the compact I'm told what it is and the colour choice is stated (which is the same as on this review photograph actually and called Rose Gardens!). It originally came in a plastic outer wrapper that hung up in the shop on a rack and on the back of that information was given about the product (basically that this is an eyeshadow compact lol) and contact details for Vital Radiance (Revlon were given). Nice enough packaging which is robust enough etc.
Open up the compact and you have three colours stored within it. To the top of the compact you have a darker colour which is the largest colour in the compact and a half moon in shape. Then under that you have a small double ended sponge applicator with both ends being slightly shaped and angled for ease of use and then under that you have another half moon of colour but this time you have a dark and a light colour so half a half a moon eyeshadows these are!
Of course it's up to you how you use these! You have of course 3 colour options and personally I use the darkest colour on the lids of my eyes and then the lighter on my upper eyelids and then the every light colour as a highlighter under my eyebrow and in the corners of my eyes but I suggest if you get this compact you play about with the colours!
The colours glide on with total ease and although they are powders they are soft and silky so when applying even the darker colours they don't speckle of their own accord onto you face but simply and neatly to where you spread them. They are not shimmery and therefore this range of colours are suitable for day to evening looks and once on they don't crumble, crease or transfer anywhere they shouldn't either!
I find they blend ever so well and are none transferable and entirely comfortable to use and wear even on incredibly sensitive eyes like mine and I think for less than a couple of quid a compact (other colours in this range of course are available) they are really nice and sophisticated eyeshadows to use not to mention to remove!
Do not forget that this brand (Vital Radiance) is a part of the Revlon group and in my opinion they really are as good as other Revlon eyeshadows I have used in the past but at a much reduced cost as the packaging used is alot cheaper looking and looks more economy! However to me it's the product that rules and this product is excellent!
