      Advantages

      Disadvantages

Nice initial shade I bought, good idea but no wonder its sold in Poundland now lol

Up until the other week I had never heard of anything such as lip topping, and it sounded a bit different to me and being a Revlon product in Poundland and seeing other women picking them up to buy them I thought I didn't have a lot to lose and I do like the brand that is Revlon usually and am aware that this was a bit of a bargain compared to what they normally charge for their cosmetics!

      The Packaging:

The little pot of this came in a see through hanging box with a small sticker on the front of it telling us the colour (which in this case is 025 - Sprinkled Pink). Down the side of the box in large silver lettering we are told that it is Revlon and then on the back of the box we are told that it is Lip Topping and shown a little diagram of how to use it, the ingredients it contains are listed and contact details for Revlon are given.

The little pot the product comes in is see though and plastic and square in shape and it holds 0.0476 oz of the product, again in silver writing we are told on the front of it that it is a Revlon product 'Sugar Sugar' TM, on the back of it what it is and the colour is stated and then on a little silver label on the base of the pot the weight is stated (as I have listed already), contact details for Revlon are once again given and finally we are told to use the product up within 18 months of opening it. The pots are really dainty with a square looking applicator poked through the middle of it which twists to open and close it and you do get plenty of product in a pot too which is great if you like this product of course.

      Using It:

Well like I have already said you have to unscrew the applicator which is at the top of the pot which is a square piece of plastic and that contains a 'wand' which is thickish and slightly rounded to the bottom of it. You pull it out and then you dab the thin, shiny and iridescent powder onto to your lips to which you have preferably applied lipstick or lipgloss to already.

This clings to the wand well enough, contains no fragrance I can smell at all a just a hint of sweet sugar flavouring and its quite difficult to get lips into shape with using this so for an example if I go near the outline of my lips that is a tricky time consuming business for me not to smudge it everywhere!.

It does contain very small pieces of glitter this but they don't sprinkle or flake anywhere when applying it or anything like that and they really are ground the powder and the result once on looks ok and adds a bit of shimmer but nothing showstopping.

The biggest problem with this is that once you've gone to all the hard work of applying it you would think it would stay put but it actually doesn't at all. As soon as you wet your lips its gone, the only bonus with it is that I didn't find it to smudge but having said that as I licked my lips as I could feel it on there it was completely gone!

All in all I feel this is one of the most pointless beauty products I owned. I don't mind putting in the effort to apply something that will hang around more than a minute if it looks nice for a while but quite simply this doesn't and so this...well its hit the bin now!

Available in 6 shades I can see online and you do need to probably try get hold of this one on line if your interested in it (or discount stores such as Poundland).
