Advantages: Dries very fast, thin uniform coating

Disadvantages: chips very fast

I can say that almost every time i apply nail polish my patience will run out and i tend to touch it and see if it has dried up or not. It might not have dried up because it would be just 3 to 4 minutes after applying it. The result!! i will end up with one nail with a little finger print on it or so.
After having a kid i can say i totally stopped wearing nail polish because i dont have the time to file the nails so i will cut them fully and also no time to wait till it dries up. But one week before when i was just clearing up my cupboard i found this bottle of Revlon top speed nail polish. I had bought it long ago ,about an year ago. So i thought it might have dried and will be useless. But when i opened it ,it was well in good condition so i thought i will give it a try.
The bottle is like the typical revlon nail polish bottle-a pyramid cut in the middle- but a little smaller with a ivory screw top. I had bought the color Khaki chrome. Interesting!!! It was a double shade with golden-violet leaning to the darker side.As the name suggests it was from the chrome collection

So what is this top speed?
It is just for people like me. It takes just 60 seconds to dry up. No blowing up on nails or wait!! wait!! wait!!
Nail polishes like other paints use a solvent for their flowing nature and these solvent evaporates once exposed to air the paint sets. So these type of nail polishes has a solvent which evaporates easier and also will give a thin film while applied, slick film technology as the manufactures say. As everyone knows thinner the film, faster it dries up.

My experience
Since i was applying a nail polish after a long time i thought i will do it in style. So i first filed the nails (whatever was left) then removed the cuticle and applied the nail polish. It was easy to apply and by the time i finished the first coat my patience start fading and just after 1 minutes i tried my touching routine so that i can apply the second coat. Hey this time it was dried up. No finger prints and i could start applying my next coat just 10 seconds after finishing my last finger. I liked that. Yes the second coat took a little longer to dry up but i managed to get a nice uniform colour on my nails .

But after one day i noticed something, the color was very easily chipping out of my nails than their other counterparts, the thin film effect. So i was a bit disappointed but a quick touch up helped. So i think this nail polish is better for special occasions than daily wear.

The color was actually very nice. When i looked on my fingers it was golden color but when i looked in the mirror it was violet with a golden glow.

Other varient
Now this top speed nail colours are coming with a new name. 'Super top speed' as in the catalogue picture and is almost the same product with a small difference in the ingredients.
They come in around 48 shades.

The manufactures also claim that you will get a nice colour with even one coat but then i think it will be too thin and wont stay long.

About the price it will cost about £3 which i got from a website because i dont remember exactly how much did it cost me.

Overall i liked this product but a bit disappointed that it wont stay longer on my nails.
