Advantages: Sets in 60 seconds

Disadvantages: None for me

I absolutely love nail polish and I have a large ever growing collection. There are some brands that I prefer but I am always willing to try products I have not tried before especially if I like the colour and the price tag. I was really surprised to see Revlon's Top Speed Fast Dry Nail Enamel available in a wide variety of colours at my local poundland. I really liked the look of colours and decided to purchase one as I felt I had very little to lose for £1! I was in need of a new blue polish, so it did not take me long to choose the shade "Royal".

The Nail Polish came in a clear plastic pouch, which I did feel was fairly unnecessary not to mention wasteful, but I guess this was to done to prevent people testing the product instore. The actual bottle is shaped like any typical Nail Polish. The container at the bottom is clear and therefore the colour of the nail polish can be  seen through, this is helpful to see how much of the Polish is left and also makes choosing the colour easy. The container gives very little information other than the name of the product "Top Speed" and that it is a fast drying nail enamel which sets in 60 seconds. Simple instructions are given on the reverse which suggest giving the bottle a quick shake before applying and also a warning that this product is inflammable. On the bottom is a white circular sticker with a barcode on, this can be peeled to one side to reveal a (long) list of ingredients. The silver lid is long and has "Revlon" printed in bold capital letters. On the top in another circular sticker, this time in silver and simply stating the shade number and colour. The lid screws off to reveal the applicator brush.

Application is easy, the brush is simply used to paint the polish onto each nail. There is the usual nail polish smell, but is not overly offensive and once dried it is odourless. I have found that only one coat is needed to leave a flawless shiny finish with no streaks. The "colour precise brush" is of a really good quality and I have not experienced any problems with the hairs coming loose. This product promises to dry within 60 seconds of application and does exactly what it says on the tin, infact I dont think I have ever had a polish that has dried so quickly, this of course makes it very convenient to use. I have also found that the polish lasts a couple of days before it starts chipping but of course this does vary and depends upon what you have been putting your nails through.  I love the Royal blue colour I chose and have found it to be very colourful and vibrant. Removal is easy and quick with nail polish remover and a cotton wool ball.  I have had no problems with staining to the nails, although as with any product like this, I would recommend applying a base coat to protect the nail.

How could I not be happy with this nail polish? It is super quick drying, has decent staying power and looks great when on. I have found it to be of a very good quality. I will Definitely be trying out some more shades and would highly recommend this nail polish. If you can find this in your poundland your getting an amazing bargain as it currently costs £6.49 in Boots.

Summary: Brilliant especially if you can get it for £1
