Advantages: Great price (see review), neat packaging. Adds a glossy finish whilst leaving your lips soft

Disadvantages: Hard to come across other than in discount stores

I picked one of these up in a pound shop, and although I haven't seen them around in other drug/beauty stores, these genuine Revlon products are often available in Poundstretchers/Poundland etc.

Vital Radiance Moisture Boosting Lip Shine is a bit of a mouthful, but put in a nut shell this is a lip gloss. It's intended to leave your lips with a hint of colour whilst moisturising and leaving lips shiny.

As I've said, I bought this from a pound store and so only paid £1 - I like my bargains but stick with branded products when it comes to make-up and skin care. At £1 for a quality lip gloss this is a bargain, but I've not seen it sold anywhere else. I've come across it on a website and it was priced around the £4 mark, so if you see one in a discount store it's definitely worth a purchase.

This came in plastic packaging, and the inner card claims the product: 'Combines sheer, shiny colour with a moisturizing forumla to nourish dry lips. Feels silky, not sticky'.

The lip gloss itself comes in a sleek plastic tube with a plastic silver screw top, and it's easy to apply by squeezing the tube and rubbing the flat plastic surface on the top over your lips. The packaging of the lipgloss is neat and looks simple yet classy, rather than tacky.

You needn't apply much to get a thin coverage over your lips for a pleasant colour and shine, so it should last a while.

I bought mine in shade 004, sheer coral, which has a nice pink tinge to it. I don't this this is intended as a full-on colour lipgloss, but more as something sheer and modest.

Because of its sheerness, you can use this alone to add some shine and moisture to your lips, or apply it on top of your lipstick. Both ways work well, and if applying it over lip stick it actually helps lock in the colour and make your lips appear fuller and more hydrated without smuding the lipstick.

Application is easy as the lip gloss is just the right consistency; not too thick that it's gooey to put on, but not too thin so that you can get a good coverage over your lips.

It does what it claims to by moisturising your lips and I did notice my lips looks healthier, with a shine and pleasant colour, whilst also looking a bit plumper. That said, it's not one to make thin lips looks full or add great colour, but it's great for a modest touch.

This seems to last a while and isn't too sticky so you can get away with good coverage for a few hours before reapplying, depending on what you're doing (ie. Drinking).

Overall I would definitely recommend this, especially if you can pick it up for £1. Because of the price I bought it at I'm tempted to give ths 5 stars so I will as it does give that moisturising boost it states.

It's a quality product made by a leader in the cosmetics industry, and it's the perfect sized, neat lipgloss that you can pop in your bag and use on any occasion.

Summary: A fab little gloss that adds shine & moisture
