So I came across this product in boots about a month ago and really liked some of the colours that they had on sale, plenty to choose from, but what really made me want to buy it was because it was said to dry in 60 seconds. This was ideal for me as I am a nightmare at smudging my nails when I paint them, I get it everywhere and always find I need to do something straight after and end up ruining them before they are even dry! With this in mind I decided to buy one, but later realised there was a sale on at 3 for the price of 2 on all Rimmel products and therefore decided to buy 2 shades and a concealer.

The shades I went with were; 819 Green with Envy, which was basically a glittery turquoise colour that looked great in the bottle but not as great on my hands unfortunately. I also purchased 270 Shocker which was a metallic pink colour-bit like fuchsia I'd say. Together with the concealer on the 3 for 2 they cost about £7 which I thought was quite good value, I also collected my boots points with that yay.

Once home, I immediately painted my nails and yes, they were dry within 60 seconds, however they were only just dry and not dry enough for a second coat and also very prone to smudging still. I still had to wait a few more minutes before a second coat could be successful, which was disappointing. I also found that it chipped quite easily. I think next time Il purchase some non-chip polish as I hate having to re do my nails every other day!

However, if you are not fussed about these things, then go for it as they really do have loads of pretty colours!

Summary: Nail polish that is just par.
