Not what I expected at all from Rimmel (Rimmel 60 Seconds Nail Polish)

Advantages: Really nice bright colour

Disadvantages: Gloopy, thick brush and runny

I've read some of the other reviews and quite surprised that it's got 4 out of 5 stars so far to be honest.

I bought the Rimmel 60 Seconds Nail Polish last week from Boots expecting a good, long lasting, easy to apply nail polish and I was left really disappointed.

I use Rimmel make-up quite alot and never had any doubt of the quality of this nail polish but I knew within about 10 seconds that it wasn't going to go on very well.

When I lifted the brush, it was very gloopy and thick and also quite runny (which is strange considering it was thick). It ran very quickly down the edges of my nails and because the polish was gloopy, I couldn't even control it with the brush even after wiping the sides of it on the bottle.

Once on, it took alot longer than 60 seconds to dry and when it did, because it was so gloopy, if I touched my nail on anything it left a dent, not a chip, in the polish.

Maybe I just got a bad bottle or one that had been sitting out for a while but even that shouldn't make it the way it was.

Wouldn't try it again - maybe borrow a friends to see if their's was the same but I wouldn't go out my way to find it in a shop.

Summary: Maybe just a bad bottle but wouldn't buy again
