Advantages: Gorgeous Colours, Great Application Brush,
Disadvantages: None
There are so many nail polishes on the market its hard to decide on which one to go for, When I am picking one I tend to go for a well named brand such as Rimmel as I know they are a good well known quality brand but I also go for the colour.
So a vibrant pink colour caught my eye while shopping in Asda of all places it stood out from the rest. The colour I have got is called Shocker. But they also have a total of 4 shades.
***Application***
When applying the product to my nails I found the brush great, it's really big and spreads over the whole nail. It's not too runny and is just the right consistency to do the job correctly.
Now I hate painting my nails, I really do hate having to wait, and then I always end up smudging it before It dries, but this nail varnish really does dry in 60 SECONDS but you do need to apply another coat even though it says only one coat required.
I am a real hands on person, I have two children who are 1 and 3, I'm constantly washing my hands, I don't have a dishwasher (even though I would love one so much) and I also have a typing job so am sat at my keyboard 25 hours a week! So nail varnish never lasts that long on me. In my experience this does not chip too badly, about 3 days for me but that's because I'm doing loads all the time to affect the chipping. If you're a person who is not rough with your hands I expect this would last a week.
I have seen these nail polishes priced from about £2-3.50 I think that's pretty good value as you get 8ml, and this will last you a few good months.
Nice colours and good application overall am happy with this product.
Summary: Great Value

- 20/09/09 I find the 60 second claim to be useless if you end up having to do two coats! That means you have to wait at least 120 seconds! Boooo.
I love Rimmel shades though, they're really funky. |
