Advantages: Nice colour; Good brush to use

Disadvantages: It doesn't dry as quick as Rimmel say

I like Rimmel nail varnishes and thought I'd love the 60 Seconds Nail Polish because my main hate about any nail varnishes is the time it takes for them to dry. A nail varnish that dries in just 60 seconds would mean I would probably remain loyal to the brand that created it, in this case Rimmel.

I have no idea of the name of the colour I brought but it was a purple that looks to be a shade or 2 lighter than the one pictured above.

The nail varnish goes on very nicely, the brush picks up just the right amount for me to be able to paint each nail tidily and the brush itself is a good length for me to hold it comfortable.

The purple shade I have needs 2 coats to get a deep colour and the first coat was dry enough to paint over again after 60 seconds, so Rimmel are right in their claims so far. Unfortunately the second coat obviously needs to be properly dry before I'm ready to leave the house and that didn't take 60 seconds, my entire two hands didn't take much shorter to dry than using any other nail varnish!

After 60 seconds the nail varnish IS touch dry but nowhere near dry enough for me to call my nails done and in the finish I ended up leaving a fingerprint on one nail because I kept touching it to see if it was dry.

The colour was gorgeous though and it is worth waiting the extra time for it to dry, but I was proper annoyed that I had been expecting it to dry loads quicker than it did.

If you forget the claim about it drying in 60 seconds then you'll find these are wicked nail varnishes and well worth the £2.59 I paid for it.

Summary: A Wicked Colour Nail Varnish That Would Be Great If It Dried In 60 Seconds

Dip your hands in a bowl of icy cold water for about 30 seconds after painting them and then any nail varnish should be dry by the time you take them out :o)
