Advantages: Quick easy great price

Disadvantages: None

Let me begin by saying, I don't do nails. Unless for a very special occasion or if I'm bored. Working in retail, your hands can get battered, your varnish chips, and don't even think about your acrylics!!

This is why I really do rate this product. It first caught my eye many years ago due to the claims that it dries in 60 seconds. Also the vast array of colours, both matt and glitter are really appealing. Then there is the price, very very reasonable. The brand also is one to trust having put out consistently good products for those of all ages, I've been using this brand for 10 years now and it does not let you down. Constantly evolving with great products and ad campaigns, I love Rimmel London!

It really does set itself in less than a minute, I do not know how they do it. Now, I find the quick drying 'metallic stars' glitter in the 60 seconds range is good, but I think the finish can feel rough and is not as good as the normal non glitter colours. The texture on your nails is nowhere near that of a non quick dry varnish but it looks good and is a brilliant option if you haven't got a spare hour to dry your nails :( it removes easily also, I recommend 1 coat for maximum longevity, I've always found it to last well. Coverage and colour never lets you down and one coat is, you will be surprised, all you need! How good and cost effective is that!!

Therefore for quick fix girlies it comes highly recommended, I don't buy any other varnish now.

Go on the website for info, I thought this particular paragraph detailing the beginnings of the brand was interesting.

Beauty loves a legend, and legends don't come much more compelling than the story behind Rimmel, one of the world's oldest cosmetics brands. In 1820, a respected French perfumer who had been trained by the famous Lubin, perfumer to Empress Josephine, the wife of Napoleon I, accepted an invitation to manage a perfumery in London's prestigious Bond Street. By 1834, the move to London had proved so successful that, together with his son and apprentice Eugene Rimmel, then aged just 14, he opened a perfumery of his own. The House of Rimmel was established.

Summary: Fantastic

Very rarely I have had the full nails worth peel off usually after a shower, so always apply last!
