Advantages: Drys fast, fairly cheap

Disadvantages: Leaves ours nails dry when you remove it

I came across this range of Rimmel nail varnish in my local Boots store. The 60 second range was particularly appealing to me because I'm not one of those girls who can spend hours on beauty routines and pampering, I just like things to be done in a quick and efficient manner.

PRICE
I purchased the green with envy shade for £3.69, I think this is reasonable for nail varnish, I normally like to keep my make-up products as cheap as possible so I expected this particular varnish is one of my better quality ones.

PACKAGING AND DESIGN
The packaging is very nice and feels like its good quality. The plastic it's made from is very thick and firm which makes it comfortable to hold and use. Each of the different shades have a black lid which I think makes the product look very bold and sleek due to the contrast between the vibrant colours and shiny sleek black.

The brush is probably the best part of this product's design, its full of bristles which are all closely packed in and holds the varnish well, and its a wide brush which almost exactly fills my nail width. The design quality of this product is impeccable in my opinion.

APPLICATION
Due to the design of the brush applying the product couldn't be quicker or easier, the brush spreads with ease and widens with a little bit of pressure making it even easier to control. I takes me literally a second to do each nail, this nail varnish was made for people like me!

I usually use two coats of this nail varnish because i like my colours to be really vibrant, however one coat is enough to cover the nail without the colour looking too faded or watery.
Once you've applied all of the varnish you need to wait for it to dry, despite the bottle saying it only takes 60 seconds I'd say it takes a little bit longer, but no more than a couple minutes. I would normally be disappointed by this and a bit angry that is doesn't do what it says on the bottle, however due to the speedy application I feel that the time scales even out in the end and still beats the application of all my other varnishes.

DURABILITY
The colours in this range are very vibrant and rich, when applied to your nails they look expensive compared to the £3.69 I paid. The colour starts to chip around the third day of application but is still wearable for around a week. I tend to just dab the bits which have chipped and then blend it in if one of my nails get really bad, however I rarely have to do this with this nail polish.

OVERALL EXPERIENCE
Overall I think this product is great for the price, it did exactly what I wanted it to, granted it took a little longer than a minute but it still impressed me with the speed! The colours are beautiful and long lasting, I definitely recommend this product!

Summary: Good buy!
