Advantages: Really metallic and pretty, lasts ages.

Ever since seeing adverts for Rimmel Colour Mousse Eye Shadow, I'd wanted to try it, because it looked so attractive and metallic. I love eye-shadow of all kinds, and I like to use sparkly or metallic ones most of all.

I tried this for the first time in a Boots store, using the testers. The testers aren't in pots, they're in tubes. I only needed to squeeze a teeny bit out and then I spread it along my hand to test it and it looked really nice and shimmery. The next time I was out I bought the pot 005 Glitz, which is a shade of gold.

I tried it the day after. When I unscrewed the lid I was very attracted to the appealing shape the eyeshadow is whipped into (see the picture for this product). I'd dived in, dipping in my finger, expecting a texture much like the Maybelline Mousse Eyeshadows. A big mistake - this stuff is much more runny (not much like mousse) and it was a bit messy to apply with my finger. I persisted, and I did get it to go on all right, though in the future I will use an applicator instead of my finger because it went all over my eyelashes. That wasn't much of a problem, it was easily removed with a tissue.

I first noticed the lovely metallic shine it had. The second thing I noticed was how cold it felt on my eyelids! I could feel it drying, going sort of crispy like paint, but that feeling wears off and it is very comfortable indeed, plus, it looks gorgeous!

I am delighted with this eyeshadow because it lasted literally all day, much longer than the promised 8 hours, and remained just as metallic. I am certainly recommending this, and now the picture used for this product has tempted me and I now really want this in blue too!

It's a bit pricey at £4.99 or somewhere around that, but I bet the pot lasts a long time, plus it's worth it because it looks great!

Summary: Excellent stuff! I recommend this to anyone.
