Worst mousse product I have used - avoid (Rimmel Colour Mousse Eye Shadow)

Advantages: reasonable price, easy to obtain

Disadvantages: greasy, slides off and into eye creases

I have used all kinds of products over the years and this has to be in the bottom 3. I was extremely disappointed after a positive review in a magazine. hard to apply, smudgey and greasey, this product was unusuable in every way. I literally had to remove in every way.

It has a different texture to other mousse products, such as dream matt by maybelline for example. It is a lot wetter, and doesnt glide smoothly onto a brush, or cover evenly when applied by a finger. I found it hard to get even colour coverage. I found it folded into the creases of my eyelid, rather than remaining on the lid, and did the same in the eye corners, which was disappointing as i like to use white to highlight and open the eye, as well as under the browline. I also found due to this i then couldnt use it as a base for other colours.

I was really disappointed as i usually like rimmel products, so i wouldnt buy this product again.

Summary: I do not recommend - hard to apply and slides off
