Advantages: Looks amazing, beautiful colours, makes eyes look lovely, and cheap.
Disadvantages: Can make eyes stingy, choose colours carefully, otherwise will bad.
I'm not a huge fan of my eyes, ones blue and ones green, and I'm pretty much blind in my right eye, so I tend to hide away behind my fringe or not draw any attention to my eyes. Obviously, I wish I was more confident connected with my eyes, but recently, I've been trying to be more confident, trying everything, false lashes, mascara and even eyeliner, but nothing I find very comfortable in, but in my Make Up bag, I found Rimmel's Colour Mousse Eye Shadow, and thought I'd give it a go, and if nothing else I could review it.
The Colour Mousse, was a soft texture, basically like any Mousse, but more thicker and smoother. It comes in a range of colours, which is a really advantage, and there is undoubtly a colour which will suit everyone, the colours are: a pale Blue, slightly darker Blue, Sliver, Pink, Peachy colour, Gold and a lightish Brown colour. Honestly, I liked all the colours, but choose the Silver, as it seemed to be one which looks best on me, but I'm sure there's a colour for every women here.
Applying the Mousse Eyeshadow, I noticed it was pretty easy, I just wiped my finger across my eye lid, and the Colour Mousse was applied, and the Mousse was soft and gentle to apply so you didn't have to rub your eye hard to apply a good, even coverage of the Mousse. But I did notice that if I applied a fair amount of the Mousse on my eye lid, my eye began to sting, not sure if that was just me, but be cautious when applying a lot, as stinging may occur. To vary the strength of the colour of the Mousse Eyeshadow, I watered down the Mousse by applying water to my eyelids too, as it weakened the colour of the Eyeshadow, but to make it stronger, I just applied more of the Mousse.
The results were pretty amazing, the Mousse Eyeshadow was evenly covered, and the colour was really beautiful, and the colour will dry on your eye lids lighter then what the colour looks like in the pot. The Silver colour was really bright and glittery, and had a nice shimmer to it, but not so much that you can only wear on a night out, and I plan to wear it fairly often. Also I noticed after a full day studying and work, the Mousse Colour was still pretty much still on, which I was surprised about, but I, personally, did find it hard to get off afterwards.
Overall, I would recommended this to every women, even if your not overly confident with your eyes, as it makes your eyes look really beautiful and sexy, but be careful with colours, and choose one, which suits you, so if available seek out a beauty consultant if your not sure what colours suit your eyes/ skin tone. Lasts long, looks amazing, and beautiful colours, what more could a women want?!
Rimmel's Colour Mousse Eyeshadow is available at most pharmacists, Boots, Superdrug etc and costs around £2-3, depending on shop and any sale offers.
Summary: Well worth having a pot, ladies.
