Decent coverage but not spectacular (Rimmel Cool Matte Mousse 16 Hr Foundation)

Advantages: Easy to blend if you're quick

Disadvantages: Doesn't cover spots or large open pores

I bought this at the weekend but have only just around to trying it out today. I was tempted by the fact that this is a mousse foundation as I often have problems blending liquid foundation, and have never really got to grips with mineral foundations yet.

***Application***
The mousse was easy to apply and I could blend it easily using my fingers so I didn't bother using anything else. It did seem to dry quite quickly after being applied so you can't spend too long on the blending. As soon as I opened the pot, I could smell the foundation. This was not an unpleasant smell though.

***Coverage and Finish***
The finish was good, but I was not overly impressed with the coverage. It did not cover any of my spots and a few large pores were still visible around my nose.

***Price***
I bought my pot from Boots, where it set me back £5.86. I doubt that I will be doing so again seeing as it did not give a great coverage.

***Do I Recommend It?***
If you do not any large blemishes or open pores, this will probably work fine for you. It gives a professional looking finish but you need to blend it quite quickly after applying it as the mousse dries within a minute or two of application. Once it is on your skin, it seems to last for a good few hours although I am not sure if it really does last for the 16 hours that it claims to as I did not leave it on for this long. All in all, it is a decent enough foundation but for me, it is not worth the price tag based on my experience of using it.

Summary: Not the best, but also not the worst
