Awful sticky and uneven (Rimmel Cool Matte Mousse 16 Hr Foundation)

I bought this as I did not have enough money for my usual foundation and I needed it that day and it was £5.86 from boots. After previously using different mousse foundations I thought this would be a good foundation but how wrong was I.

I had a job interview that afternoon so therefore really needed it I went to the toilets to put it on. I was in a hurry and the lighting was not good so I put it on and then had to rush to the interview. The makeup felt very sticky as I was putting it on and then my face felt sticky after putting it on. When I got to the interview I was waiting in the waiting room and when I glanced towards a mirror I realised it was all uneven. I had realised it was not the best makeup whilst putting it on but it was not just missed areas it was just clumps of colour every so often and had not rubbed in properly. Plus my face still very sticky and my hair was sticking to it.

After unscrewing the top lid there was another lid to keep the makeup fresh which I thought was good as it would not dry out. The makeup itself smells bad unlike other foundations and I could smell it when it was on my face.

The foundation claims to last for 16 hours and that it does not tranfer. However the foundation was gone by about 4 hours and did transfer which I did not think was very good. I understand that makeup like foundation and lipstick never last as long as it says but 4 hours was not good.

I think that this is an awful foundation mainly because of the stickyness and that it was completely uneven. I know how to apply foundation and have used many different foundation but this is by far the worst I have ever used.
