Advantages: Good colour and texture, lots of pigment, one tube lasts almost a year, value for money.
Disadvantages: Application wand could be thinner.
I have been using this eye liner for years now, because of the great colour and texture. It comes in black and also in lovely non-red dark brown.
The application 'wand' is like a little felt-tipped pen. It is not ideal for drawing a very fine line, but with a little practice is quite easy to use. I use another wand with a very thin bendy brush-like end to dip into the tube whenever I want a very thin even line.
I like the texture of this eye liner, as it doesn't produce the almost see-through, faint felt pen looking line with little colour, which is what many cheap eye liners seem to do, but a more saturated, heavy line with quite a lot of pigment in the colour.
The line wears off a little bit after 6-8 hours' of wear near the corners of my eyes and needs to be re-touched, but this could be partly due to the fact that my eyes tend to tear a bit (from laughter, the computer etc.) and so I sometimes dab the corners of my eyes with my fingers. The line doesn't get smudged though, which is great, and is easy to remove at the end of the day with any makeup remover/ cleansing milk I've used.
This is great value for money (£4.88 at Boots) and the tube lasts for a long time. I've used my current one for at least 10 months now, and I wear it almost every day.
Summary: Great liquid eye liner, value for money.

- 14/06/09 You might get higher rates if you add how long it lasts once applied to your eyes. Also, does it smudge, how to you remove it?
Add this, let me know, and I will come back and rate it Very Helpful. |
