I am not sure if you can actually buy this product anymore as I cannot seem to find it on places likes Boots.com or even the Rimmel website but I have noticed in my search that you can buy it from ebay for around £1.50. Honestly though...I wouldn't bother.
I received this eye gloss as a gift at Christmas and I am not usually one to use cream eye make up I have to say. As I now had it though I was obviously going to give it a good try.
The pot that I received was "Portobello" which was a rich golden colour. The eye gloss comes in a small plastic see through square pot which has 3.5g of the product in there.
The advantages of the eye gloss as far as I can tell is that it is easy to access the product as you simply pop off the lid and you are able to use the product straight away. It can be applied with your fingers too so handy to pop in your bag and you can apply without any fussing around with brushes. For me, however, this is as far as the advantages go.
When I applied the eye gloss I was left with no colour at all unless I applied over and over again. Now this may be more to do with the creamy gold colour not being too stand out rather than the gloss itself but I also felt that most of the product was left on my fingers after application. When I did get some colour onto my eyes with this gloss it did not last long at all-we are talking around an hour or two. As far as I am concerned this is not good enough. I need a make up to last, and would expect this from a brand like Rimmel. It also seemed to crease on my eye lids leaving them to look messy and not finished.
In summary I would definitely not purchase this again but if you like creamy eye products you might like it-just avoid the Portobello shade!
