Advantages: Volume, price, packaging
Disadvantages: NONE
I spend quite a lot of money on beauty products because I do believe you get what you pay for. However, I have always opted for Rimmel mascaras over the other brands because firstly they're cheap but also I have found they also deliver just as good results as some of the expensive brands.
The mascara is called: "Glam Eyes Lash Flirt". Not sure I'm completely won over by the name of it but I guess that isn't really too important.
Packaging
The packaging of the mascara is black and gold. The lid is the gold half and the rest is black. The writing is gold on the black part and black on the gold part. I really like this packaging the gold and black really compliment one another.
The shade I picked was black as it is the colour I always opt for. As far as I know though it only comes in black, which can be bit rubbish for those who wear brown mascara.
The comb is curved which makes the application a lot easier; because it is curved it is shaped to fit your eyelashes and makes your eyelashes really stand out when used.
I use this mascara every day, so I get a lot of use out of it. It has lasted me about 3 months and now I'm ready to get a new one.
This mascara doesn't cake or feel heavy on my eyelashes, something I really can't stand the feel or look of. The lashes feel soft and natural the only difference is they look bigger and more glamorous.
The mascara is £7.09 from boots for 5ml., which I think, is fairly reasonable for mascara. Mascaras like any product vary in prices but usually they are around the £10 mark. It does last along time like I said before so it is worth investing in.
Does the mascara give my eyelashes more volume than other products I have tried out?
Well the best mascara I have used is 'bad lashes' by benefit, which retails at the price of £16.50 at boots. This gave my eyelashes extreme volume and if it were cheaper this would be my favorite. But for £9.41 cheaper I think I would rather pick the Rimmel mascara because it gives me a lot of volume just maybe not as much as Bad lash does but for the price you really can't go wrong.
Overall, I love this mascara and that's why I give it 5/5. The price is much cheaper than my favorite mascara and gives my eyelashes a glamorous lift. I love the elegant gold and black packaging and the curved wand too. I really can't fault this mascara!
Summary: i love it
