I always wear eyeliner, and after finding the kohl pens to be too faint and smudgy I decided to try a liquid eyeliner for a more defined, thick, bold line. I particularly like Rimmel brands because their products are of good quality and excellent value. Being new to the realms of liquid liner I was reluctant to spend a large amount of money on one incase I didnt like it. So when I found Rimmel Glam Eyes liner I was more than happy, and have since been using it for years.

I picked the product up for around £3.29 several years ago, however now it seems to retail for around £4.99 max. The tube is small and compact and fits neatly into any handbag or makeup bag. The handle is coned for easy grip and the brush is fine and pointed which makes for extremely smooth and easy appliation. The actual liquid is superb and lasts for ages, despite being slightly runny at times. A little bit goes a long way. The colour is very bold and striking, and there are three to choose from - black glamour, intense plum and diamond kiss. Further more removal of the product is really easy, therefore it is a good liquid eyeliner to begin with to practise those perfect flicks, as any mistakes are easily gotten rid of. The only issue I have is that I have very sensitive eyes which can often sting slightly after application of this. My eyes also water a lot and thus can spoil my makeup. Many products remain unaffected by this, however Glam Eyes liquid liner does not last well and will smudge and come off at the slightest drip of water; definitely not good in bad weather or sad films!

Overall I love this product and it is one I make sure I have in my makeup box. It is simple to use, glides on easily and gives excellent finish. Perfect for first time users.
