Advantages: Curves and lengthens a little, the packaging
Disadvantages: The poor quality of the brush, lack of volumising
I've always liked Rimmel mascaras. They always seem to do the job properly and I have yet to be unsatisfied with one.
I usually only use one at a time and buy another when the old one runs out, so bought this to replace my Magnif'Eyes.
The packaging - Rimmel have had a recent mini-makeover with the image of their products and I have to say, I love it. It's cute yet classy at the same time and I love the little crown feature on the wand!
The brush - Hmm, I'm actually a little unsure about the brush. It has its pros and cons. It's sort of rubbery, but it's sort of hard - I've actually experienced a little pain when applying.
The bristles are pretty spikey, which helps define and I've yet to experience spidery lashes with it.
However, I find that the way the brush is attached to the wand is way too bendy and pretty weak. You have to be careful when taking it out and putting it back in, or you could snap it off.
The brush could arguably be dangerous.
This is not the worst mascara I've used but it's definitely not the best.
It curves and lengthens a little, but doesn't volumise at all, which is what it actually claims to do. It doesn't do anything amazing and it certainly isn't a miracle worker.
I expected better but I'm not completely unsatisfied. I guess this is OK if you want a natural look with just a little enhancement to your lashes.
But if you're like me and think lashes can never be too long, thick or curvy then I don't recommend!
Overall, this product does nothing special at all - it's your average, run of the mill mascara and I wouldn't buy again.
Summary: Average mascara - won't be buying again
