Advantages: smooth coat and dries quick.

Disadvantages: none

I rarely wear nail varnish because I never have the time to put it on and even if I do, I'm not left alone for long enough for it to dry so I dont usually bother. On the odd occasion, I do like to paint my toe nails though, so one night after my son was in bed, I decided to paint my nails.

I hate it when nail varnish chips and think it looks a complete mess, especially if it is a bold colour because it stands out even more. I bought this because it promises to be long lasting and not to chip.

ABOUT THE PRODUCT-

The nail varnish comes in an 8ml glass bottle. The brush is attached to the black lid and it screws off so you can have it on tight or looser when necessary.

You can get the varnish in thirteen different shades, I have the bold red one. It is priced at about £2.99 and you can buy it from places like Boots or Superdrug. I'd recommend it from boots so you can collect the points on your advantage card which is what I do.

For the reliable rimmel brand, £2.99 is no more than you'd expect to pay really and I have seen much more expensive ones. I like the colour I had althought there are a good variety of colours to suit others as well. Each colour has its own name, like magenta magic, instead of just red or blue which makes the product stand out from others.

It did last very well on my toes, it lasted for about a month which I was very happy with, especially because I'm quite active and not one to sit there with my feet up, so the nail varnish is hard wearing.

Putting this nail varnish on wasn't the best because it is a little bit thick so it didn't spread fantastically unlike the stargazer one, but you only need one layer of this to get an even covering. It dried fully after about 5 mintues. Once it was dry, I couldn't feel it on my nails and it felt very smooth and not noticable unlike other nail varnishes that I have tried in the past.

Overall, this nail varnish is definitely worth the money, there are lots of funky colours to choose from and it lasts well. To make it last longer, you could put a clear nail varnish ontop which is what my daughter does. Overall, it is worth the money and even if you don't like it, you can always throw it away knowing you didn't pay loads for it. I'd recommend it to others.

Summary: I like this a lot.

I use a nail varnish that said dry in 60 seconds... Bull. I've never had a nail varnish like it, it becomes all sloshy and it's imposisble to do somethin for 10 minutes afterwards without ruining it. Might try this one out if it dries quickly. Brill review. Kirsty x
